Casa Hogar de Cabo San Lucas
Our contract with Casa Hogar de Cabo San Lucas enables us to support the full-time care of vulnerable children living in the facility. The children of Casa Hogar are wards of the State due to tragedy, mistreatment or abandonment.
Casa Hogar is a not for profit charity registered with the Mexican Government under the administration of a Canadian Executive Director under the supervision of an independent Board of Directors. It is financed entirely by private donations but is closely monitored by Mexican State and Municipal Governments. It provides a caring and supportive family environment for children under the age of 18, with a full time staff of about 20 employees.
Casa Hogar has acquired an adjacent property and is in the initial stages of designing a comparable residential facility to expand its reach.
